What Is the Mindstride Student Health Program?

Our Student Health Program is a specially designed service for University of Ottawa graduate students (GSAÉD members) that gives you real, reliable health care support — physical, mental, and emotional — accessible when and how you need it. Think of it as your health partner, focused on helping you lead a healthier life so you can perform at your best.

Student Service

Description

Mindstride™ platform & mobile application

Provides students with rapid access to healthcare through a digital platform designed to facilitate assessment, assure continuity of care, and deliver high-quality healthcare through the iOS or Android application(s).

Local clinical care team'

Care team of local doctors, clinicians and mental health experts. Get high-quality care from Canadian-licensed clinicians for non-emergency conditions.

Clinical facility access

Students can book in-person appointments through the Mindstride app or by phone. Our 10,000 sq ft care center is located at 1111 Prince of Wales Dr. in Ottawa.

Primary care appointments for non-urgent episodic care

Access to clinicians (NPs, MDs, counselors etc.) for non-urgent episodic care appointments, typically within three (3) business days.

Student Health Check™, initial mental & physical health assessment & report

An optional, proactive, comprehensive mental health assessment and targeted physical health review, including blood work (available on-site).

Mental health programs

Collection of curated interventions delivered via the Mindstride platform used as the foundation or building blocks of each individualized student care plan.

Wellbeing digital library

Student self-service access to Mindstride's library of wellbeing and psychoeducational content, available through the Mindstride application

Telehealth / virtual visits

Students can book rapid, tailored health care on-the-go through a telehealth of virtual visit. Mindstride will meet students where they are or want to be.

Online pharmacy & delivery

Fulfillment and free delivery through Mindstride's integrated pharmacy services.

On-site laboratory services

Available onsite at our Prince of Wales clinic.
